is an educator with a Masters in Education and a Masters of Fine Arts, a public speaker, and an award-winning children's storyteller. They design school-wide creative writing and drama programs for preschool, elementary, middle school, and high school students, and most especially love working with Title 1 schools and Newcomers.​​​ NoNieqa is a proud member of Las Musas Books collective.

​​​​​NoNieqa is a proud Big Sibling with the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Organization. NoNieqa's padrino, (their godfather), was their father's Big Brother back in the day.
